Hair Care

Hand-tied Extensions

LET'S FACE IT, EXTENSIONS ARE EXPENSIVE!

In order to protect and lengthen the life of your hair, we recommend the following tips:

- Use only sulfate free shampoo + conditioner. We recommend Iles Formula or Davines for best results.

- Brush a few times a day to prevent tangling.

- When swimming, coat your hair in conditioner + wear in a braid or loose high bun.

- Oil the mids to ends of the hair at least once per day. Avoid the root area of hair.

- Air dried hair is fine, but make sure to blow dry the top of the weft so it does not hold moisture.

- Sleep in a low braid or pony tail.

- Sleep on a silk or satin pillow case.

- Brush from the ends of your hair moving upward.

- Avoid hard water, as it can strip natural + extension hair of color.

- Be aware that salt water, sunscreen + chlorine can strip hair of color. When using sunscreen, we recommend       Bare Republic Mineral to avoid chemical reactions.

- Use a deep conditioner once per week, avoid the top of the wefts.

Recommended Maintenance:

Move up- every 6-10 weeks.

Replace wefts- 6-9 months

Blonde + Balayage Care

- Use UV protecting spray or wear a hat when in the sun. If swimming, coat your hair in conditioner (or leave in spray) + wear in a braid or loose high bun.

- Oil the mids to ends of the hair at least once per day.

- Protect hair from heat, use heat protection products and keep the hot tools down in temperature. Recommended setting is 350 degrees or below.

- Only use sulfate free shampoo and conditioner.
